Pete Doherty Questioned in Barcelona

Pete Doherty, the British singer, has been held for questioning at Barcelona Airport after flight crew found a syringe in the toilets of the Easyjet plane he was travelling on from Gatwick.
Civil Guards searched the toilets, as well as Doherty and his companions, but found only methadone, whose possession is not a criminal offence. Doherty was released after questioning.
His group, Babyshambles, were in Barcelona to play at the Primavera Sound Festival.
