Weather in Marbella Spain rocked with hailstones the size of golf balls
Usually the weather in Marbella is quite mild and living here on the coast for a little over 7 years I was very surprised by the hail storm that took place this morning on Friday the 21st of September 2007 at 9am but this was a storm of biblical proportions.
According to the news so far, 18 people have been injured including a few small kids as this was the school rush hour.
I am not going to ramble on too much but I will let the pictures below speak for themselves. (by the way, reports are coming in of hail stones the size of tennis balls!)
I walked around some of the street around my house and noticed that every single car parked on the street has been subject to sever denting on any part of the vehicle that has been exposed.
This photo is taken of the atrium inside my apartment building. All the white bits that you can see are holes caused by the hail stones. It will have to be completely replaced now.
Most of the cars had their windscreens intact but there were many with broken windscreens.
